One Less Elf - Kael'thas Down

A lot of hard work paid off last night with our first Kael'thas Sunstrider kill. Great job to everyone that worked their asses off to see him dead.

In the last three months the guild has gone through a lot. A new GM, a handful of new officers, and a lot of new faces... but in the end we've finished what we started and Lady Vashj died tonight.

This evening we decided to take a night off in order to better Rexxar's cross-faction relations. Not soon after reaching Ironforge, however, our embittered Alliance hosts petitioned GM's to have us removed yet again. Feeling rejected like Khazarak after cheerleading tryouts, we decided to stand up and fight this horrible injustice.

In a matter of hours Fandral Staghelm, Tyrande Whisperwind and Prophet Velen lay dead. With our rage/intoxication subsided we called it a night. Thanks to those who helped in our devious plots, more will surely follow.

Merzhul, we will miss you...

We at DG8 are sad to announce a tragedy that has hit us very hard. Merzhul, a long-time member of our guild, has passed away. For those of us who knew him, he was a good friend, a funny guy and a very dedicated player. World of Warcraft is just a game, but times like this remind us that there are real people playing and reality can still strike us hard.

We will miss him deeply and offer our condolences to his family and friends outside of the guild.

Although saddened by recent events the guild was able to show great resolve, collect itself and kill yet another new boss. The speed in which we've progressed through Serpentshrine, four bosses in roughly a week, says a lot about the quality of our members and the dedication they have for one another.
